-The postoperative period is as important as the surgery. For this reason, the presence of an intensive care unit is of vital importance when necessary.

- The function of the Intensive Care Unit is to continuously monitor and support the vital functions of patients who have had or will have cardiovascular surgery. The Intensive Care Unit is a department designed for the close monitoring of critical heart diseases that usually occur suddenly and will lead to the death of the patient if no treatment/procedure is performed. Patients who are at serious risk of life in terms of heart disease should be followed closely and the slightest change in vital signs should be detected and intervened immediately.

-In the Cardiovascular Surgery (CVC) Adult Intensive Care Unit of our hospital, our patients; continuous heart rate with monitor, rhythm (ST analysis of ECG when necessary), arterial blood pressure (systolic, diastolic), percentage of oxygen saturation in the blood, respiratory rate, body temperature, ETCO2 if necessary, hourly bleeding amount, urine output amount, The parameters of the ventilator and the analysis of arterial blood gases at regular intervals are monitored.

-Patients with heart failure can be provided with medical treatment and medical support with advanced technological devices. State-of-the-art devices are used in respiratory failure.
