The neonatal period, which covers the first month of life, is the most important phase of human life.Having a good time during this period plays a key role in leading a healthy life in the future.The aims in neonatal medicine are to reduce the rate of death and sequelae by trying to prevent pregnancy risks and birth harms and to bring healthy children to the society.

In our unit, patients in need of intensive care are followed up, monitored, fluid and drug treatments are performed, and interventions such as respiratory support, phototherapy and exchange transfusion are applied.In addition, advanced technological equipment such as nitric oxide device and amplitude integrated EEG device are available and are used in case of indication.In our specially built total parenteral nutrition room, intravenous nutrition fluids are prepared under sterile conditions.
